Sarah Palin has complained repeatedly that she was given unfair treatment by the media during her rapid political ascent last year.
But Mike Huckabee – a potential rival for Palin in 2012 should they both decide to seek the White House – apparently doesn’t agree.
In an interview in the current issue of Esquire, Huckabee speaks sympathetically of Palin, saying she had been subjected to “sexist things that would never have been asked of a male candidate.”
But he pushed back against Palin’s assertion that high-profile journalists – particularly Katie Couric of CBS – were biased in their interviews with her.
“Now I must say I did not think that either the Charlie Gibson interview or the Katie Couric interviews were unfair,” Huckabee said. “In fact, if anything, Katie Couric was extraordinarily gentle, even helpful. [Palin] just … I don't know what happened. I can’t explain it. It was not a good interview. I’m being charitable.”

Gosh, these people are still sooooooooo afraid of Sarah Palin even now!! I saw a snippet of the Ann Coulter attack on “The View” where Baba Wawa was blasting Governor Palin...talk about biased! Poor Ann, at least she tried to present a conservative view but those rude women just kept talking over her...yeah, they’re unfair and biased all right. That’s why you couldn’t pay me good money to sit down and watch that show day after day—yuck!

Palin can run circles around Huckabee’s sorry fat butt. No offense to anyone, but I would not vote for any minister, priest or rabbi for political office. Notice I did not even mention mullahs.
I didn't see the Couric interview. The Gibson interview has been well documented to be a hit piece.

Huckabee is a “journalist” now - he’s just speaking up in favor of his hack brothers and sisters.
From what I can tell, Sarah Palin has a good heart. It’s a heart more in line with our Founding Fathers than most of those daring to run for high office.
She is solidly, unashamedly pro-America and pro-life. That trumps any egghead virtues—”What kind of magazines do you read???” One doesn’t have to worry about her selling out her country or leaving it vulnerable to attack.
Can someone please post that picture of Huckabee and his fat family, all wearing the same sweaters or whatever it was. It was a keeper.
Mike, if God had really ever meant you to be president, He wouldn’t have set you down in Hope, Arkansas nine years after Bill Clinton. Let it go.
Mike Huckabee is not a good person. And he knows it.
Elmer is so yesterday's news. If he goes head to head with Sarah, she will skin him and field dress him. Catholics, Mormons and economic conservatives have no problem voting for Sarah. The same can't be said about Elmer Gantry. Sarah is an Evangelical Christian without the bigotry baggage. There are other good candidates who could unite the party, but Elmer ain't one of them.

I’m continually amazed that Sarah has been a Mayor and then a successful Governor, has a huge approval rating and has rock star appeal and yet, in the media’s eyes anyway, she is unqualified to lead because of an interview she gave a partisan hack like Couric.
Unlike Obama, who has none of her qualifications but gives good TV time.
It really is unbelievable.
